Betsy is our chief food taster. She has just turned two years old and has a very large appetite for someone so small. Her favourite food is Brussels sprouts and she devours bananas and blueberries within seconds!
Betsy has a very sweet temperament and loves animals, swings, cuddles, music and food. Just don’t let her little fingers near your phone or laptop… you will regret it!
Sara is Betsy’s mum and she is on a mission. As if being a mother was not enough, she is now embarking on a journey to raise awareness of the importance of healthy cooking and eating together as a family, learning with Betsy in the process.
When Sara had Betsy, she decided to adapt her own diet so that she could cook and share her food with her baby. Sara and Betsy now cook and eat healthy food together, saving money, saving time and bonding together in the process. Most importantly, Betsy is learning about healthy eating from a young age.
“I am not a professional cook or chef, I am just a mum who wants to cook healthy food for us both. What I am doing is nothing new, but in some cases it has just been forgotten.”
After months of hard work and contacting different organisations and friends, Sara managed to combine a team of young passionate individuals who share the same ideas and are keen to spread the word. The result was ‘Betsy’s Mum’.

After working at the BBC and for various production companies in a range of different roles, Ben decided to sink his teeth into something bigger.
He is now producing and directing the show and when he is not filming and editing, you can find him babysitting Betsy who is the only one who laughs at his jokes.
